The Wichis and the "Campana miremos con amor" association

This association gathers objects, furnitures, school material, hygiene products, etc. and ensure the transportation to the Wichis communities in northern Argentina, Salta and Formosa regions.

The children suffer from parasitic disease and constant diarrhoea. This comprises their nutrition.Lots of families are also without work and are dependent on water to cultivate their land and their livestock etc.The members of the association "campana miremos con amor" have been working over the years on a community project called Water for Life. This needs lots of volunteers and finances. Hope is this year that we can reach the first stage of bringing water to the community.

Before leaving for a journey a four month to Argentina and after lots of internet searches I met Jose Emilio Alegre, at mar del plate.He explained with lots of details the work done for the people of WICHIS situated in the region of Salta et Formosa in the north of Argentina. This intrigued me and I promised to help the association at a later date At the moment I am I already support a project in Peru (Toys) and couldn't commit to another cause.
